Time Of The Day Filming Notes
We have decided to film in the evening as we believe dark, natural lighting creates a scary atmosphere for a horror film as the audience will be able to feel involved in the situation as we're filming in a house (safe place), but using dark lighting, creating an 'unsafe' atmosphere, making the audience more tense and uncertain about the idea of having "bad things happening in a safe place".

We also noticed that Nightmare on Elm Street and The Ring both use washed out, dark lighting which we wanted to re create as we believe that it would create the intended atmosphere. By using lighting such as this it creates the unpredictability portrayed by the killer. (AL)
